Three years ago, I gave my life back to God after living a fast, exhausting, and sinful life. Raised in church from childhood, I had my moments of love for it, but also times when I couldn’t wait to escape. I spent a significant part of my life living however I wanted, far from the church. But GOD… He kept His hands on me, protected me from all harm, and never stopped loving me, even when I was living in sin.
Today, I stand before you not as someone perfect, but as a human who was born in sin and is still striving every day to resist the devil and stay away from anything that isn’t pleasing to God. It’s not easy, and there are days I have to push myself to keep going. But one thing I’ve learned on this journey is that if you’re willing, the Lord will keep you.
When I chose to repent and surrender my life to God, everything changed—especially the way I think and see the world. Repentance isn’t just saying "sorry" for mistakes; it’s a radical shift in how we live, think, and relate to God. Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." Repentance is recognizing our need for Jesus, realizing we can’t save ourselves, and choosing to follow Him. It's a process, but the invitation is always open.
Surrendering your life to Jesus is a powerful, life-transforming decision. It’s about coming to Him with a heart ready to surrender and trust in His grace. If you’ve wandered or drifted, remember that Jesus’ love for you never stops. His arms are always open, ready to embrace you with forgiveness and love.
So, if you’re reading this and feel led to make things right with God, all it takes is a confession—open your mouth and declare that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, and that He died for you. Do it with an open heart, mind, body, and soul. When you do it, make sure you mean it. Let Him in, and watch Him work wonders in your life.
If you’re living with one foot in the church and one foot out, it’s time to choose. Don’t stay stuck in the middle. Come back home to your Heavenly Father, who still loves you. I encourage you to give your life to Jesus, live for Him, serve Him, share His love with others, and help bring more souls to His Kingdom.
Remember, there are no shortcuts—no one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

Here’s some more information on repentance . Here I explain , What repentance is , what it’s for , and why it’s important that we do it !!!! Read carefully .
Repentance is a fundamental concept in the Bible, encompassing a profound change of heart and mind that leads to a transformation of life. It involves turning away from sin and turning toward God. Biblically, repentance is more than just feeling sorry for wrongdoing; it is an active decision to change one’s ways and adhere to God’s will.
In the New Testament, the Greek word for repentance is "metanoia," which means a change of mind or purpose. It signifies a complete shift in direction—from sin toward God. In Acts 3:19, Peter calls for repentance, saying, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
Repentance is often associated with a few key elements:
1. Recognition of Sin: Acknowledging one's sins and their impact.
2. Sorrow for Sin: Feeling genuine remorse for having sinned, as highlighted in 2 Corinthians 7:10: "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation."
3. Confession: Admitting sins before God, as seen in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
4. Turning Away from Sin: Making a conscious decision to change behavior and turn away from sin.
5. Turning Toward God: Embracing a life aligned with God’s commandments and seeking His guidance.
Repentance is crucial for spiritual growth and renewal, bridging the human heart with God’s grace and mercy. It is a continuous process in the believer's life, inviting transformative experiences and deeper communion with God.
